The Grace Dart Extended Care Centre (GDECC) is comprised of two care centres which are part of the Quebec health and social services network. We provide permanent and temporary accommodation and long-term care services for clients who are experiencing a significant loss of independence.

The mission of a CHSLD (Residential and Long-Term Care Centre) is to offer on a temporary or permanent basis an alternative living environment, assistance, support and surveillance services, rehabilitation, psychosocial and nursing care, pharmaceutical and medical services to adults

who by reason of loss of functional or psychosocial autonomy can no longer live in their natural living environment even with the support of their families and friends. (Source: An Act respecting health services and social services.)
